Shane Rayner
Shane has been leading the National Response Centre (NRC) since 1994 providing a range of asset integrity response and employee safety monitoring services across a wide spectrum of industries and well-known brands in Australia and the Asia Pacific.
Shane has responsibility for shaping the work environment, delivery of services in line with the centres' ISO accreditations, continuous development and improvement of the centres’ service offering, customer and key stakeholder engagement, setting strategy, market and business development, contract management and achievement of operational and financial performance outcomes.
Prior to joining NRC, Shane held key operational and safety leadership roles with the Gas & Fuel Corporation and has over 40 years’ experience in the energy (distribution, retail and upstream), mining, utilities, and government sectors.
Lisa Carbone
Lisa has been leading service delivery at the National Response Centre (NRC) since 2015, supporting the delivery of Health and Safety Response services to businesses around Australia and the Asia Pacific. She is responsible for the mobilisation of new services and development of those client partnerships.
She also leads the learning and development program and team at the centre and is responsible for the application of the NRC’s integrated management system, in place since 2016. As a certified business, quality and process continuous improvement through collaboration and innovation is a driving focus of service delivery’s objectives and an evolving ambition as we strive to achieve best practice in all we do.
Lisa has more than 20 years of experience in a variety of service solution and leadership roles in diverse industries but predominantly within energy (retail, distribution and upstream), utilities, mining and government services.
Tom Savage
Tom is highly experienced sales executive, joining the NRC team in 2024. Prior to this, Tom has worked in a broad range of industries across Australia that require complex hardware and software solutions. Sales activity has been direct to clients, prime contracting, managed services, systems integration and by establishing and managing solution partnerships.
Tom has also established and managed sales teams across Australia and NZ, is adaptable to change and commercially aware, resulting in a client centric approach.
Kate Krstic
Kate has been leading operations at the National Response Centre (NRC) since 2018, overseeing the daily delivery of critical client services across call centre, dispatch, and monitoring operations. Joining the organization in 2008, she is responsible for leading the response team and ensuring the consistent achievement of all service level metrics and regulatory obligations.
She also drives operational performance across the centre, focusing on seamless service execution and compliance. As a highly regulated environment, maintaining strict adherence to service standards through team alignment and operational excellence is a driving focus of her leadership, ensuring the NRC consistently achieves best practice and meets its compliance objectives.
Michael Casey
Michael helps oversee day-to-day operations and ensures the efficient delivery of services across our team. With a strong background in coaching and people development, Michael brings over 5 years’ experience in operational management in the Energy and Utility industries to our team.
His strategic approach and commitment to continuous improvement help drive organisational effectiveness and help support the National Response Centre’s mission and goals.
